Bayswater Foundation visits Fundación Caminos in Colombia

0 minute read

Fundación Caminos is an NGO based in Medellín, Colombia. They are committed to helping children who are disadvantaged by poverty, violence, neglect, sexual harassment and addiction. FunCaminos offer the children innovative educational and recreational activities, including, but not limited to learning English and playing football.

In early 2019, Bayswater Foundation committed to funding 7 classes of 12–16-year-olds to take part in an English Programme. Our Regional Sales Director, Daniel Saldarriaga, visited Fundación Caminos for the first time and meet with the students from the classes we started three years ago, and took part in their anniversary event.

"I had the opportunity to visit @funcaminos again for their anniversary and it is such an honour to be able to support this project through the work of Bayswater Foundation. The way we can impact the life for other people makes a huge difference, and these kids are truly success cases. I highly admire all the love, effort and sacrifice that the Fundación Caminos team makes every day to change the most needed kids’ life."

Since 2019, we helped Fundación Caminos provide 4,710 student-weeks for underprivileged students living in the marginalized areas of Medellín.

At Bayswater Foundation we have a one-for-one commitment that when a student signs up, we give a place to someone less fortunate. When you choose to send a student to Bayswater, you choose to #MakeADifference.
