Bayswater Foundation: Our Impact in 2025

We are proud to share the 2025 Annual Report for the Bayswater Foundation, highlighting another year of life-changing educational opportunities for young people around the world. Our mission remains simple: education unlocks potential. Through access to language learning, we help students develop the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.

Key partnerships and global impact

In 2025, we partnered with six outstanding non-profit organisations to deliver high-quality language education in communities where it can have the greatest impact:

• Mais Caminhos (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

• Cidadão Pró-Mundo (São Paulo, Brazil)

• Children of Medellin (Medellin, Colombia)

• Bareeq Education (Jordan)

• CONEDUQ (Mexico)

• Fundación Televisa (Mexico and the UK)

We also continued supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and people from forced migrant backgrounds through Breaking Barriers in our five UK schools and refugee organisations in Paris.

2025 in numbers

This year, our programmes generated 27,919 student weeks of language learning, demonstrating the scale and reach of our work around the world.

Student participation by project:

• Cidadão Pró-Mundo: 10,956

• CONEDUQ: 6,900

• Bareeq Education: 2,969

• Mais Caminhos: 2,381

• Children of Medellin: 2,162

• Fundación Televisa: 1,280

• Breaking Barriers (UK): 1,091

• Refugee organisations (Paris): 180

Together, these projects reached 896 students.

2025 highlights

This year was marked by growth, resilience, and inspiring success stories across our partner network.

CONEDUQ doubles its reach in Mexico

One of our most exciting achievements was the expansion of our partnership with CONEDUQ in Mexico. Following a successful first year supporting 100 students, the programme has now grown to support more than 200 students.

Students participate in speaking and presentation activities that improve pronunciation, fluency, and confidence while benefiting from the support of both lead teachers and assistant instructors. This growth means even more young people are gaining access to skills that can open doors to future educational and career opportunities.

Six years of impact with Mais Caminhos

This year also marked an important milestone in our long-standing partnership with Mais Caminhos in Brazil.

According to Maria Dupuy and the Mais Caminhos team, support from the Bayswater Foundation over the past six years has helped transform the lives of more than 100 families. The partnership has enabled young people to access educational opportunities while providing teachers with stable employment, training, and professional development.

Their message was simple: sustained support creates real and lasting change.

English as a pathway to opportunity

The impact of language learning goes far beyond the classroom.

Former Cidadão Pró-Mundo student Milena shared how learning English helped her access new opportunities, overcome challenges, and ultimately secure a role with Meta. Her story demonstrates how language education can become a catalyst for professional growth and long-term success.

As Milena puts it: “CPM changed my life.”

Education for good

None of this would be possible without the support of our students, staff, partners, and wider Bayswater community. Together, we are helping young people gain the confidence, language skills, and opportunities they need to create brighter futures.

In 2025, we expanded programmes, reached more learners than ever before, and strengthened partnerships across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Jordan, the UK, and France. We remain committed to ensuring that access to education is never limited by circumstance.
